The Association of Natural Biocontrol Producers (ANBP)

The Association of Natural Biocontrol Producers (ANBP) is a professional association representing the biological pest management industry. Augmentative biological control utilizes beneficial insects, mites and nematodes to manage agricultural, horticultural and plant pests. ANBP membership includes producers, distributors, and in addition, users of natural enemies as well as allied industry supporters, university researchers, extension agents and regulatory representatives. 

ANBP's mission is to address key issues of the augmentative biological control industry through advocacy, education, and quality assurance.

Mexico Meeting

Our Fall Meeting is joint with the IOBC-MRQA in Merida, Mexico.

We are excited to see everyone at our joint meeting in Mérida, Mexico to be held November 14-17, 2017.  We will have the program available by request soon.

Why support ANBP?  ANBP is a non-profit organization formed in 1990 by commercial insectaries to provide representation for the commercial biocontrol industry. Membership opportunies apply towards producers, suppliers, practitioners, general members, industry supporters, researchers, and government representatives. Donate to the Research Fund

Beginning in 2002, ANBP commenced a Research Fund for financial awards to initiate or continue research projects of specific interest to ANBP members and the production biocontrol community. Encouraging student research is just one aspect of this program.  Check out past student competition winners at our Research site.  We urge you to assist in this program by making a contribution. You will be recognized in the Newsletter and will receive progress reports, also published in the Newsletter. Growers and other end-users of commercial biocontrol products now have a website that explains how to simply evaluate the quality of their biocontrol shipment.  Produced by Vineland Research and Innovation Centre in Canada, this website was launched with the help of ANBP and University of Florida IPM.  It will be updated with new species and can be edited if shipping techniques change.  Check it out at:
